27 October 2023 - Limerston Capital LLP (“Limerston Capital”) is pleased to announce that Limerston Capital Partners I, L.P. portfolio company Forensic Access Group, one of the UK’s leading providers of analytical services to the legal, policing and clinical sectors, has acquired FTS, a best-in-class provider of toxicology testing services designed for Family Law and Childcare Proceedings.
Limerston acquired Forensic Access in 2020 through a management buy-out and the company has since completed four bolt-on acquisitions prior to this one adding capabilities in toxicology (ASI Ltd), anthropological and ecological forensics and external training capabilities (Alecto Forensics), and digital and cyber investigations (IntaForensics and Faraday Forensics).
Located in West Yorkshire, FTS’s complimentary services, technical skills and accreditations will provide the opportunity to increase capacity for Forensic Access’s existing toxicology business as well as expand and diversify the client base.
Limerston Capital is a private equity firm targeting UK businesses with EBITDA of between £5 million and £15 million. It partners with management teams to help build them into industry leaders through buy-and-build and operational transformation.
