Previously, Julian worked with Graphite Capital as Chairman of portfolio company Education Personnel. Prior to this, Julian worked as Chairman and CEO of portfolio companies of 3i and Bridges Ventures across the recruitment, training, education and business services spaces.

Julian started his career at Ford of Europe before becoming an entrepreneur, building and selling Harley West one of the UK’s leading IT training companies.

Julian is a Chartered Director and a member of the Institute of Directors. He received an MBA from Cranfield and a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bath.
