We are supporting Adviser Plus in becoming a leading UK provider of specialist technology and innovative HR, change and employment law solutions that drive business performance through people performance.
Adviser Plus is a people, data and technology driven human capital management (HCM) group of businesses, helping to deliver improved human capital performance to a broad range of enterprise clients.
Limerston identified AdviserPlus as a potential platform in 2015 through its Operating Partner network and built a strong relationship with management.
At the time, AdviserPlus was a niche HR service provider specialising in employee relations, delivered through expert HR advisors and case management technology. We were attracted by the group’s strong focus on enterprise clients and a stable, recurring revenue base, while also being well positioned to capitalise on strong market interest in technology enabled HCM services and potential become a leading tech-enabled HR services provider.
We entered an off-market process directly with AdviserPlus senior leadership and executed a management buyout in late 2016.
What we are doing
Following investment, we set out to upgrade the core operating model to drive down cost of delivery, deliver better customer outcomes and reduce implementation time.
We identified the manager self-serve as the catalyst to evolve the model and made a significant investment development of a transformational new HCM SaaS platform, to leverage tech enablement and upgrade from a people-driven outsourcing model to a tech-enabled self-service offering.
We continued to focus on enterprise product sales to grow recurring, multi-year contracted revenue base, while broadening the service offering from employee relations to tech-enabled HR services across different value-add segments of the employee lifecycle.
To do this, we supported Empowering People Group in successful completion of three bolt-on acquisitions, enabling the group to expand the organisational change and HR transformation capabilities and diversify into employment law.
